Request to ban drama 'covenant loyalty' Ehd-e-wafa
Lahore High Court dismisses request for ban on drama serial "Eid Wafa"
According to the details, a petition was filed at the Lahore High Court seeking a ban on the drama serial "Eid Wafa". During the hearing, the court dismissed the application for ban on the play, saying it was inadmissible.
While giving remarks, Justice Shahid Wahid said that the applicant should approach PEMRA first, and if there is no hearing, he can approach the court.
It was clear that the Lahore High Court had applied for a ban on the drama serial "Eid Wafa" in which it was held that the role of the politicians and media of the country was being played in the drama. The overall negative impression of Pakistan is being created in the outside world.
The petition stated that the court should ban the broadcasting of the "covenant".
The drama serial is the story of 4 friends in which Ahad Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Osama Khalid Butt and Wahaj Ali play the lead roles. Along with him, Zara Noor Abbas, Alizee Shah, Hajra Yameen and Viniza Ahmed are also playing important roles, while the drama is directed by ISPR and directed by Saifi Hassan.

ڈراما ’عہد وفا‘ پر پابندی کی درخواست مسترد

لاہورہائیکورٹ کی جانب سے ڈراما سیریل ’’عہد وفا‘‘ پر پابندی کی درخواست کومسترد کردیا گیا۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق لاہور ہائیکورٹ میں ڈراما سیریل ’’عہد وفا‘‘ پر پابندی کے لیے دائر درخواست پر سماعت ہوئی۔ دوران سماعت عدالت نے ڈرامے پر پابندی کے لئے دائر درخواست ناقابل سماعت قرار دے کر مسترد کردی۔

جسٹس شاہد وحید نے ریمارکس دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ درخواست گزار پہلے پیمرا سے رجوع کرے، شنوائی نہ ہونے پر عدالت سے رجوع کرسکتا ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ لاہور ہائی کورٹ میں ڈراما سیریل ’’عہد وفا‘‘ پر پابندی عائد کرنے کے لیے درخواست دائر کی گئی تھی جس میں موقف اختیار کیا گیا تھا کہ ڈرامے میں ملک کے سیاستدانوں اور میڈیا کی کردارکشی کی جا رہی ہے، اس سے بیرونی دنیا میں پاکستان کا مجموعی طور پر منفی تاثر پیدا ہورہا ہے۔

درخواست میں کہاگیا کہ عدالت ’’عہد وفا‘‘  نشر کئے جانے پر پابندی عائد کرے۔

ڈراما سیریل ’’عہدِ وفا‘‘  4 دوستوں کی کہانی ہے، جس میں احد رضا میر، احمد علی اکبر، اسامہ خالد بٹ اور وہاج علی مرکزی کردار ادا کر رہے ہیں۔ ان کے ہمراہ  زارا نور عباس، علیزے شاہ، حاجرہ یامین اور ونیزہ احمد بھی اہم کردار ادا کر رہی ہیں جبکہ ڈراما آئی ایس پی آر کے تعاون اور سیفی حسن کی ہدایت کاری میں بنایاگیاہے۔
